ABL Aluminium Heatsinks
Based in Birmingham, ABL has been a supplier of heat sinks to the electronics industry since its formation in 1975 and now offers one of the UK's most comprehensive ranges of heat sinks. ABL is at the forefront in the design and manufacture of heat sinks and now supplies, from stock, many of the electronics industry's most widely specified components from its modern facilities. ABL continues to be recognised as a leading supplier of heat sinks across the globe, gaining in recognition as an expert in the field of heat sinks and thermal dissipation technology.
At ABL we offer a broad range of standard extruded heat sinks, ranging in size and thermal performance that have benefitted from continuous development. Our products offer customers the design flexibility they need for todays demanding systems ensuring that ABL is the first choice for designers of electronic systems with thermal management requirements.
If a standard heatsink profile is not available we use our extensive experience of aluminium extrusion and working with customers to create a customised heatsink that is both thermally efficient and cost effective.
To supplement our range of extruded heatsink products we also offer board and surface mount heat sinks suitable for standard electronic packages such as TO220, TO218, TO3, etc. Our extensive supply of accessories including clips & pins are designed to enable effective and efficient assembly.
A range of BGA heatsinks is now available from ABL. Please visit our BGA heatsink page or contact us with your specific requirements. A full range of heatsink clips, pins, wire forms, pads, anchors and tapes etc are available, most ex-stock to compliment the BGA range.
Heatsink Machining and Finishing
ABL benefits from having all manufacturing and finishing processes in-house under one roof and as a result can offer fast and flexible service to its customers. This compares markedly with much of the heatsink supply chain which imports and distributes heatsinks but suffers from a distinct lack of flexibility and ability to respond quickly. This allows our customers to hold much lower heatsink inventory levels because we can respond quickly and reliably to short lead time requirements.
A policy of continuous investment in plant and machinery and rigorous product development ensures that ABL can offer a high level of process capability, competitive prices, assured quality and reliable delivery.
ABL Heatsinks are ready to assist you with your heatsink requirements. Our experience in providing heatsinks that are cut to length, deburred, machined and anodised stretches back over 35 years across a huge range of different market sectors.
